So post your cash routines when visiting Thailand. All tips & trix are welcome!

For me im thinking of taking with me 20.000BAHT in money and the rest i can take out when i arrived and payed taxi and hotel. And keep my daily budget on me, VISA card locked up at hotel safe.

Have a safe repository for your cash, and do not carry too much at one time.
Keep one credit card with the the safe cash.

Last year my trip was a rush job,I booked the whole thing (flights,hotel etc)15 days before I travelled so needless to say spending money was low.
I budgeted around £50 a day or $90,not much I know but i managed.

This year i`m taking £3,000 or $5,750 dollars,around £120 quid a day or $210 dollars a day.£1,500 in travellers cheques,£500 cash and the rest on card.

Should be more than enough the money includes my side trips to Bangkok,Koh Chang,Koh Samet and Kanchanaburi.

Some good times ahead

Spent two weeks in Pats in October.
Excluding hotel and flights spent about £1,750.
Had a fucking ball. :)

Was in Bangkok and Patong last May and spent a lot less than I budgeted. I had a great time. This year I've got 39 days and 5 cities to see.
