So post your cash routines when visiting Thailand. All tips & trix are welcome! For me im thinking of taking with me 20.000BAHT in money and the rest i can take out when i arrived and payed taxi and hotel. And keep my daily budget on me, VISA card locked up at hotel safe. |

![]() Have a safe repository for your cash, and do not carry too much at one time.
Keep one credit card with the the safe cash. |

![]() Last year my trip was a rush job,I booked the whole thing (flights, hotel etc)15 days before I travelled so needless to say spending money was low.
I budgeted around £50 a day or $90,not much I know but i managed. This year i`m taking £3,000 or $5,750 dollars, around £120 quid a day or $210 dollars a day.£1,500 in travellers cheques,£500 cash and the rest on card. Should be more than enough the money includes my side trips to Bangkok,Koh Chang,Koh Samet and Kanchanaburi. Some good times ahead Si:D |

![]() Was in Bangkok and Patong last May and spent a lot less than I budgeted. I had a great time. This year I've got 39 days and 5 cities to see.
