Joe Torre, signs with the Los Angles Dodgers today as manager, turn down the offer from the Yankees for 1 yr. for the security of a 3 year contract with the Dodgers.

I hate the Dodgers Irish because I'm a Giants fan. I used to like Joe Torre but now hate Joe Torre.

Mack, there is some great tradition with the SF Giants, The Say Hey kid, McCovey, Juan Marichel sp, Garlord Perry, Bobby Bonds, and all the others i missed.

Irish there were some great matchups that I remember watching as a little kid.

Mays getting knocked down by Drysdale

... McCovey hitting one over the wall against Big D

...Maury Wills stealing a base

...Marichal locked in a duel with Koufax

...the Dominican Dandy hitting Rosboro over the head with a bat

...ahhhh the sweet memories.
