Just seen this
Lady Herries Dies Known in Australia as Colin Cowdrey's missus and the trainer of the 1998 Caufield winner, Taufan's Melody. Didn't realise she also trained Celtic Swing who went on to sire Australia's greatest ever rags-to-riches racing story in the mighty Takeover Target

She trained just along the coast from me, she was a very under rated trainer under both codes.
Celtic Swing was a monster as a 2 year old but never really trained on.

More sad news. High Chaparral was put down today.
He was the sire of So You Think and It's a Dundeel in this part of the world
