![]() Young Sydney jockey Nathan Berry died today after contracting an illness in Singapore about 2 weeks ago. He was only 23 years old. Along with his twin brother Tommy, also a jockey, they were the heart & soul of racing in Sydney racing.
Ever the larrikin ( the Poms might need to look that one up), he always had a smile on his face especially in post race interviews after riding a winner. Nathan Berry This has really knocked me today. Just so young. Will have a SML in his honour tonight Rest in Peace young Nathan ![]()

![]() Bazz,
Heard about this today from a mate here who has a share in Driefontein, which Tommy rode to victory (after a protest) at the Magic Millions a few years back. He was pretty distraught. RIP young man. |
