Getting a girl from Pattaya to take a trip to Koh Samet with you for a couple of nights may not be a bad option if you find a girl you'd like to spend a bit more time with. You can organise it easily enough on the fly from Pattaya, 60-90 mins in a minibus rather than the hassle of airports/flights and you'll have no shortage of takers around town for a bit of island time.

I can imagine they would be more than happy to take a paid vacation.

Even though they may need to earn their keep.

: I'm sure I can suffer through having an extra person go along. I figure 2 nights there is about all the quiet relaxation I can handle though.
