that eubank benn thread got me watching some stuff on youtube.. here's some of my favourite fights
eubank coming back in 97 to try and beat a young joe calzaghe naseem v kevin kelley defo in my top 3 fights of all time this multiple knockdowns and the strongest chin wins

i like the old fighter like sugar ray robinson, could not believe how fast he is and how jake la motta stayed up i never know

this is the best fight i've been present at , oscar de la hoya V Fernando vargas at the mandalay bay las vegas , jack nicholson couldn't even get a ticket got voted fight of the year 2002

For some reason the big fights in USA used to be on a Monday night, Tuesday morning here. I was at work on the first train to Gatwick when the fight started about 5am so when we got to Hassocks I stood on the platform with my radio listening to it as I couldn't get a reception on the train. The commuters were moaning but it was so exciting I didn't want to miss a second of the commentary and it only went 3 rounds so fuck knows why they moaned, only got to Gatwick 10 mins late
