English Premier League 2007/8
Who do you fancy???
I fancy scum to win again,if they get Tevez they will have a great team with Hargreaves strengthening their midfield. Dark horses i think Newcastle with their kitty and new owner i think their spending power will give them 5th or 6th.. Underachievers Bolton,Sams gone I just have a gut feeling they will struggle along with Boro,Derby and Birmingham Top 5 1.Scumchester United 2.Liverpool 3.Chelsea 4.Arsenal 5.Newcastle Relegation 18.Birmingham 19.Middlesbrough 20.Derby JMO Whats yours?? |
Newcastle no chance of 5th Si IMO
1st Chelsea 2nd Munich 3rd Liverpool c/w complete flop Torres 4th Tottenham 5th Arsenal 10th Manchester City 16th Birmingham 17th Wigan 18th Fulham 19th Derby 20th Middlesbrough Baggins... |
I think spurs will flop, and i agree i think torres will flop,,,voronin maybe more suited to the prem
|
I think with the improvements to Fergies squad and more bickering at Chelski the title will be on its way back to the North West.
|
old crust you mean City gonna win it? 555555
Baggins... |
With Ronaldo and Rooney.....ManU will cruise to another title...if Ronaldo goes down with a long injury....Liverpool.
|
i think if liverpool get a good start to the season they can go close but can't see them winning it , hurts to say but think munichs will win it again ... BTW i disagree with you on torres baggins too much natural talent to be a flop IMO
1.scum 2.chelsea 3.pool 4.spurs |
Realistically, I think Chelsea is the only club that has a chance to beat out MU.
|
What were the biggest moves this offseason for teams in the Premier League:detective:....Ronaldo staying with ManU? Sidwell changing teams? Wasn't Lampard flirting with a French or Spanish Club?
Any monster moves out there I haven't heard about?:detective: ....also....who are the new guys to watch for the teams that are new to the P/L?...any potential superstars? |

Thanks Sidancing.....
Jagielka will make Everton a stronger team....had a good defense last year and now a little extra punch. Nani ManU....is he another midfielder? How will this make Ronaldo a better player? Will this move keep the ball away from the best player in the P/L?:detective: Torres....65million?....a lot of dosh...how will this move help Liverpool? Less than 3 weeks until the opening of the season....should be a good onedancing |
Quote:
Torres COULD be world class we`l just see how he settles in the prem if he does he`l take it by storm but.... This season has the biggest number of transfers ive ever seen seems crazy, more to come i reckon |
Torres....65million?....a lot of dosh...how will this move help Liverpool?
he's got the 1 thing defenders hate & thats pace plus 2 feet to go with it & he's good in the air.....potential to be a flop but no-one ever mentions juan sebastian veron being a £25 million flop at manu then an £18 million flop at chelsea who released him for nothing this summer , so he'd have to be pretty dire to be a flop |
veron was a huge flop, tomas brolin kind of flop
|

Might be a good move to take a flyer on him now in fantasy football while his cost is relatively low...before it shoots up....have you joined up yet?:detective: Thanks for the video:cheers: |
not signed up yet nose but i will be soon

last season we were still paying his wages
|
I can't see beyond Manchester United but hopefully Liverpool will close the gap to make it a 3 horse race as Arsenal are going backwards.
|
Just had a look at the fantasy board and Torres is the 3rd most expensive forward and he hasn't played a P/L game yet:detective:
He's ranked just below Rooney and Drogba and above Berbatov.....he must be velly velly good. |
