Hi Winston. I will be staying at a hotel called Sabai Lodge. I understand this is a long way from the action. But easily accessible on a bahtbus. Ive been told Walking st area and sois 7 & 8 are best by night. Soi 6 by day. Can any of you guys add to that.

Hi eric and welcome.
I haven`t stayed at Sabai Lodge but know the location you`ll get around easy enough from there,no worries. Some bars very close by anyway. The areas you`ve described(Walking Street, sois 6,7&8) are probably the most popular, all good for a first trip, and I would make you right as to soi6 being a good daytime place. Plenty more out there just depends on how much time you have. Try to visit as many different places as possible see what you enjoy most. |

Soi 6 is an experience not to be missed. You will not make it from one end to the other without at least a dozen girls trying to pull you into their bar for some A word of caution though some bars employ ladies of the 3rd kind. However, if that is what you are interested in, go ahead.
Sois 7 & 8 have many good beer bars. The Cherry Bar on Soi 8 has a good name and is well worth a visit. I trust reccomending a bar is allowed under the rules here. If you want to see girls naked, you will have to visit the many go-gos in town. The Bangkok Police have a large presence in Pattaya just now, where they are doing their best to put a dampner on people's enjoyment by ensuring that all dancers are appropriately dressed at all times. This means that the girls must wear at the very minimum bikinis, but many bars have an excellent early warning system which gives the girls time to cover up if they are topless or to disappear into the toilets if not wearing anything. I just wish that the authorities here would would accept that many tourists want to see girls as nature intended but ......... Charles |

Just wondering if there is a particular bar everyone here attends. On the forums I've read that Cherry bar, Secrets bar, FLB bar are popular with forum members. Not sure of their locations though
