Default "Taken".......

Viewed the new Liam Neeson movie today...."Taken".....

Best action movie I've seen since the first "Bourne".

Get through the first 30 minutes as the story builds.....and then strap yerself in...F N wild ride and I ain't kidding ya.

I had some misgivings going in if Neeson could handle the role....he handled it nicely....see it for yerself...I really dug it.

Mmmmmm, watched it a while ago and did'n really like it . I thought it was too cliche'd. I did watch Gran Torino today though and thought that was great,....larffed and cried, ....any movie that can do that is a winner for me. I love how he got away with so many insults,....zipper head, gooks, spades, spooks , i think the only one he didn't use was , niggha !!!!

That's such an obvious thing to say.

Hmmmm. It was ok I guess, Neeson is good and there are some nicely violent set pieces but the plot is very weak, the basic plotline that gets the action rolling is the kind of thing that was out of date donkey's years ago. Still worth a look I reckon but I wouldn't bother going to the cinema to see it.
