Something a bit different here, an unlicensed bout between Roy 'pretty boy' Shaw and Donnie 'the bull' Adams back in the 70's. This was originally going to be a bareknuckle fight but attracted too much attention and so was fought with gloves to satisfy the police.

For those not in the know Roy Shaw is a hugely respected figure in the London underworld who spent many years in prisons for armed robbery etc including time spent in Broadmoor the top British jail for the criminally insane.

The Shaw fight was funny. I liked when he pushed the ref back so he could keep hitting the other one while he was still down and trying to get up. "Rules? I got your stinkin' rules!"

The Zab Judah 1 was so good I'll post an alternative view of it.

If he ever comes to these shores to fight Ricky Hatton someone should show him this clip and then play that music for his ring entrance.

Best comment I see on youtube about it was :-

"I dont know why the ref called it, he was obviously doin the James Brown to show the ref he was alright.He even pointed to him and said watch this...."

Apparently there is a rule that states if you get knocked down, try to get up and go down again the fight is automatically stopped, shame Judah didn't know his rule book and had to bitch.
