[Freak]

Last trip I was looking for a cheaper alternative to PTTY from BKK
than the usual taxi I get.

I took the BTS to Victory Monument and from there I went to
the Century Plaza exit, which funnily enough leads you straight
into Century Plaza, which is also a movie complex.
From there I went outside and there are about 4 tables set up
with mini-buses headed to all parts of the Kingdom.
A 30min wait, 200bht and I was on my way to PTTY.
Its a limited stop service that uses the tollway, it drops you
on Pattaya Tai near Tutcom.
It would be good to hear of any other cheap ways to get from
BKK to PTTY and PTTY to BKK. Thanks

Bell Travel Bus service.
I used that mini-bus service before Freak, going to Hua Hin, it is very good

So Bilbo if you want to use the Bell bus service from BKK, Do you have to go anywhere to meet them or do they do a Hotel pick-up ?

I've used the Bell bus from the airport a few times and always found it good, fast, cheap.

I believe it's 300 Baht to central BKK hotels and railway station. Same system in BKK as in Pattaya ...... feeder vans between the bus station and drop-off points.
