Melbourne Cup 2012
Run today at 3 pm Melbourne time.
Lots of international horses in the race these days (English, French, Irish etc). Many of them now trained in Australia by Aussie trainers some have been here for a couple of years. The usual suspects of Dermott Weld, Luca Cumani, Saeed Bin Suroor as well as the Frog trainers have come here again trying to win the race. Noticeably absent is the Ballydoyle kid. Hasn't been seen since his 3 horses finished the last 3 over the line a few years back. FWIW, I have had a few bob on Green Moon & Mourayan. Both Irish horses trained in Australia Best of luck if you had a bet.
