New HBO series..."Broadwalk Empire"...w/Steve Buscemi
for all you gangster film fans...this looks to be the best series that HBO has presented since the "Sopranos".
I've never seen any role that Steve Buscemi hasn't been awesome in...and he excells at criminal types.... ...coming mid-September. |

Tommie have you ever seen the Australian series Underbelly. If you like stuff like the Sopranos I'm sure you'd enjoy it. Best thing to come out of Australia since Prisoner Cell Block H. I bought the dvd box set for 400 baht in Tukcom but I'm sure you could get it on some torrent site.

HBO did Band Of Brothers which was great.

I'm up to episode 6 now.....and I'm still waiting for it to grab me. Considering the names attached to it I keep thinking it's bound to get better sooner or later but if it wasn't for that I'd have given up 2 episodes in.
...The latest series of Fringe has kicked back in though and is the best thing on TV IMO.

I got back into it after episode 6...I'd watch it just to see Buscemi act...one of the best actors working today...IMHO of course.
