[Fork Handles]

One of the great TV series. Didn't see all of the episodes, waiting for it to come back on.

Problem is, the US version is about to start here. I'm remembering Till Death, Steptoe, The Office.....

Should I watch the Yanqui show? Any of our American friends know what I'm talking about? Will it spoil the original for me?

Like a lot of series the first one was great, but the follow up in the Smoke not so good. Cannot imagine our friends over the pond getting anywhere near the first series.

Being old enough to have lived through those times, a lot of younger people have asked me if the Police were as bad as they come across in the programme. My answer is always no........they were worse.

Unfortunately here in the good old USA we don't see the original versions of the shows that get so shamelessly copied, so don't really have that bearing to make a comparison judgment.

IMHO, the Yank versions of Til Death and The Office suck, still haven't decided if I like Kath and Kim or not.

I very much enjoyed the original UK version the yank version is a poor imitation,watched bits of 2 episodes and was extremly disappointed
