Default insurance

travel insurance is a must for me i've not left home without it, but never used it either, is it best to get a full comprehensive cover for trips to los or just a basic deal i hope i never need it but would hate to end up in hospital then get a bill for thousands of pounds. whats the best to use, are things like getting a motosai covered or a boat trip to koh lahrn and scuba or snorkeling ect has anyone had to make claims and did they get settled or just brushed off by the insurance company?

i use direct travel.
http://www.direct-travel.co.uk/
£50 a year, month travel per trip, no dangerous sports (winter ones i think)

only used once a few years ago, an overnight and antibiotics in a hospital.

would have cost me more than the £50 so i wouldnt be without it.
