Default IMHO....The Best TV Shown in America...The First 48....

Reality TV at it's most real...."The First 48"...follows homocide detectives in murder capitals such as Dallas, Detriot, Memphis and Miami from the first phone call to the arrest of a suspect.

"The First 48" refers to the time frame detectives have until the case starts to run cold....past 48 hours and the chances of solving the case grow slim....it's frantic drama as the detectives, in many cases, work non stop.... to solve the murder.

..... riveting stuff and I am addicted. In it's 4th or 5th season on A&E (arts and entertainment) a cable network...check it out.....

paul....I've googled some of the cases and up popped what has happened to the suspects....and in some cases the outcome, when the coppers have failed to solve the case....didn't know it was on UK TV....they just started a new season last night.

sometimes on my day off...they will run 4,5,6 episodes back to back....even some of the reruns are cool to watch.

from what i have seen....a lot of the cold cases are solved by anon tips called in to the "crimestoppers " hotline.
