Unnamed Australians test positive for banned substance Nine Australian athletes could face two-year bans after testing positive for a banned drug, according to the country's Sports Anti-Doping Authority. It is reported to be methylhexaneamine, which two Nigerian athletes tested positive for at the Commonwealth Games. It said the athletes will not be identified until further investigation. Reports suggest athletes who took part in the Commonwealth Games, as well as Australian rules footballers and rugby league players, have tested positive. However, officials from the Australian Commonwealth Games Association, the National Rugby League (NRL), the Australian Football League (AFL) and Athletics Australia all said they had not been notified that any of their athletes were involved. Under the Asada performance-enhancing drug protocols, any positive test of an 'A' sample is immediately communicated to both the national sporting organisation, and the athlete. The tests were conducted during the week of the AFL and NRL grand finals and before and after the Commonwealth Games, but not during the event, which was monitored by international authorities. At the Commonwealth Games, Osayomi Oludamola was stripped of a gold medal in the women's 100 metres after testing positive for methylhexaneamine. Samuel Okon, who was sixth in the final of the men's 110-metre hurdles, was also disqualified for the same offence. should check rikky pontin, sorry hes a dope, not dope test...
