For the first time the Tour de France starts in Britain.

A 8km time-trial prologue in London starts off the
greatest cycle race in the world.

On the 8th July is a 203km race from London to Canterbury.
Finishes on the 29th July with the traditional run in
onto the Champs Elysees Paris by which time the winner is usually already known.

Just 2 rest days in between the racing.

Be nice if a Brtish rider could get a stage win on home ground,we`ll see.
