lets face it its just another excuse for us coming home early AGAIN weather we needed becks or not it will just add to the conspiracy theories, but all the other wags will be happy now no sherlye cole or posh spice there now let some other slappers get there pics in the papers

Sounds like bullshit to me.

Wasn't going to get picked anyway, saves face by getting a soft tissue injury. Then when the poms go out early, the pundits can say 'If only Becks had played.'

Beckham would be have been another option for England at the World Cup. Coming off the bench almost certainly but useful to have on standby. I feel quite sorry for him.
