laptop accident - old data recovery ?
Hi
Entirely my fault, managed to knock over a drink on to my laptop, it immediately powered off. Took it to Tuk Com for repair, bought a 2nd hand Dell as a stop gap. One week on, get told it cannot be repaired, both keyboard and motherboard kaput. fair enough, it is old and although I liked it was due for replacement. I have 3 things on there that are important to me though: Approx 400-500 bookmarks. Some photos downloaded on to it. Some music videos downloaded on to it. No back ups of anything, silly me. These would be on the Hard Drive/memory ? which might be OK or recoverable I guess ? Is my thinking that correct ? If so roughly how long should it take to remove the Hard Drive/memory and either put on a replacement Hard drive or transfer to the replacement Dell ? If feasible I`d likely get some technician to do that as it would be beyond me. Many Thanks. |
