Default Amir Khan v's Willie Limmond

Big fight on ITV4 rather than Sky this Saturday.

As a Jock I hope Willie punches Amirs head right off. Although as he's not known as a big hitter I can't see it happening. Amir on points in front of a home crowd is my gut feeling.

Place your bets please... who do you think will win tonight ?

khan to win on points is where my money would go , soon as khan goes in with a banger he's going down frank warren knows his chin ain't that good so hence the lighter punching opponents

Khans first real test and it is over 12 rounds against a fully fledged lightweight rather than a blown up featherweight.
Khan on points seems the logical pick but I shall be rooting for Limond to at least give him a proper fight.

i fancy khan on points......but think limmond will stick with him all the way,its gonna be interesting to see how khan paces himself as its his 1st time doin 12 rounds,if limmond can set a hot pace from the off khans gonna have to match it and could run out of steam late on but i fancy him to be too far ahead on points and just weather the storm untill the final bell.......limmonds no puncher but khan can whack a bit so a stoppage isnt out of the question either...its a genuine test for khan...

i thinks thats a tough one to call R,skeltons pressure could be too much for sprott....it'll be a war that one,but im not into the heavys....lookin forward to nicky cook.....classy boxer and excellent body puncher, also kevin mitchell is on the bill not sure if he'll make the telly but exciting to watch....cooks on 1st at 8pm itv4 think that will be the best match of the night

ITV4 8pm till 9pm, then ITV till 11pm and back to ITV4 till midnight. Skelton hasn't boxed for a year and at 39 or whatever he is he can't be improving whilst Sprott should be in tip top condition and confidence after ko'ing Audley.
Nicky Cook fight might be a tough one and the Mitchell fight could be competitive.
It's nice to see some competitive fights instead of the usual push overs.

What a war this fight turned into. Great battling performance from Willie Limmond. 'Limmonds face... a mask of pain and blood.' as the commentator said.

Rocked that cocky wee prick Khan. Hurt him. But fair play to Amir Khan. He came off the deck and won well. Mind you Khan was exposed in this fight.

Khan is a big lightweight and has fought at light welter, if he thinks he's world class already then imagine him getting into the ring with Ricky Hatton.
