I gave a driver 20 baht but he said he had no change. I stood my ground for a second and a falang behind me who had also just got off, had 20 baht and paid for both us. Couldn't work out whether I was being a prick or what. Anyway I didn't thank him.

In Pooket you dont get change from a hundred even if you go 100 mtrs.

got off a bahtbus last week gave 100 baht he gave me 80 change i stood with my hand in the window to wait for my other 10 baht,,,,normally i couldnt give a shit i mean whats 20baht ??? 30p?

I always used the motorbike guys for yee sip baht. Stick to the guys with green vests as they don't tend to drink quite as much while on duty.
