Pattani, Narathiwat and Yala in general are best avoided. Phattalung is OK but not a lot happening. The islands off Satun or some of the beach areas (Khanom) near Nakhorn Sri Thammarat are worth a visit. The islands off Satun can be done by the Tigerline Ferry from Phuket/Lanta/Phi Phi to Langkawi.

Very nice report thanks for posting. Not too fond of the girls though if this is the best the place has to offer I'd rather stick to Bangkok and Pattaya prossies

I enjoyed the report Tom. Much appreciated. Always good to read and see another side of Thailand.
That is something I guess we should all do more often but I know that once Pattaya gets hold of your regular mug punter (read me!!) the we are sort of fucked. Maybe next time..... That "old" Panny FZ50 takes lubberly piccies. |
