Former world No.1 Jelena Jankovic has predicted Sam Stosur to win Saturday's French Open final after being slaughtered 6-1 6-2 by the Australian on Thursday. The Queenslander used her thumping serve and scorching ground strokes to demolish the Serbian fourth seed in exactly one hour of play in their Roland Garros semi-final. Stosur will meet court-kissing Francesca Schiavone in the final, the 17th seed being the first Italian to reach a grand slam singles final in the open era. "She is a very good chance, she is playing very, very well and I think she will do it," said Jankovic. Australia has not boasted a women's major winner since Evonne Goolagong Cawley collected her second Wimbledon title in 1980 and the nation's last French Open singles title holder was Margaret Court in 1973. Stosur said knocking off four-time champion Justine Henin, 12-time major winner Serena Williams and Jankovic in a row had her primed for the final. "Yeah, I think beating the calibre of players I've played the last three rounds definitely helps me for Saturday's match," she said. "I've beaten all those, so why can't I win one more?
