Phil, the plan was to go all up and all the way not stopping until they lost. However I had a pretty rough day at work yesterday (strange but true that some of us work Sats & Sundays) and I did not realise that the Poms were playing. Another opportunity lost where working gets in the way of the punting man. Will put it all up on the next game though BTW, a horse called Spirit of Boom (5/2) won in Queensland yesterday. Mirkwood and myself always wanted to shag a lady at Nook Niks bar named Boom who we obviously nicknamed Miss Boom Boom. For whatever reason (The Babysitter & Miss Rose come to mind), we never got around to it. Another opportunity lost..... Of course, The Lurker () was waiting until we went first She has disappeared from the scene now unfortunately. |

Mate it's a foregone conclusion that we will win the final, so Bazz is having some fun with the loosers

Of course they are and at the start of the tournament were ranked 9th. I think they have moved up a step or two by now. The best thing about it all is the crowds are back. Reasonably priced tickets and all the drums and horns and what ever they use to make noise. Great atmosphere that comes through on the telly. |

Currently they are 1.87 on Betfair. Being an Aussie I cannot have a bet on anything related to 87 (13 less than a hundred). When the price changes I will get on. BTW, Aussie horse Starspangledbanner goes around in about 50 mins in a race at York. A good horse which I backed at 15/1 to win last year's Caufield Guineas. Coolmore are training him now. Would love to back him but as the horse comes from Victoria he does not have much chance. Their Away record is woeful. Just look at Figgy and Fork Handles Ahh. bugger it. Will have $20 on him for the heck of it. |
