Cheating Sri Lankans
I see the southern continent cheating at slip is still well practiced by the national cricket team.
I see they still cannot understand that cheating is not in the rules. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/cric...nd/7135243.stm

Just had a quick look at this on Sky and its a stone wall not out.
When a batsman nicks off from a quickish bowler, the slip fielder cannot always know if the catch is clean. In this case he would know because the ball went down. The odd thing is, after seeing the replay, the Aussie Sri Lankan coach does not think there is a doubt. Golden law of cricket, benefit of doubt goes to the batsman. |
