Pretty much sums it up as an England fan.
I disagree with euro 96 but pretty much right in respect of tournaments

I do remember the Spain game in 96 wondering how Spain had 2 clear cut penalties disallowed and thinking how the fuck did we win that

England have never beaten a 1st rate football nation in the knockout stages of a tournament outside of our own country (world cup 66 and euro 96) always came up short when it really matters !
