A win would mean that Scotland are guaranteed a play off place for the World Cup. So we would be up against a good European team again. A draw would require other results to go our way to make it the qualifying play off game.
6/1 to beat Holland or scrape through with a draw then beat another decent team to make it to the World Cup. I wouldn't bet on that. Two days ago I was talking to people putting money on Macedonia to beat us at home. No chance Scotland will be in South Africa. I hope I'm wrong though. Especially without the lucky talisman McFadden. I work in a gym and its still full of guys training when Scotland are playing. Old Firm fans don't seem too bothered what happens. Rangers and Celtic supercede the national team for the majority of people here in the west coast. (Edit) I'm one of them ![]()
