Good Place To Change Your Dosh
I think this place may be own by Bazza.
I used the Western Union place on Soi Buckeroo opposite Soi Choiapoon near Oasis go go. Found they offered very good exchange rates even better than the place on soi LK.

Does it vary that much that it merits traipsing around?
Even if it was 1 Baht different (unlikely) it would only save £20 in a £1000. OK, £20 is £20 but if the difference is only fractions of a Baht then it is not worth while. I prefer a place that is sheltered. Both from ther sun and hordes of people watching me conduct my business. I use 1 of the 2 places behind McDonalds opposite the top of Soi 13.

also used the bank closest to Villa Market for a credit card advance after a buckaroo ATM ate me card a year ago...fast safe and efficient.

Never did much looking about but its rate did seem higher than others that I could be arsed to look at whilst walking past. |

The main rule is. The airports are slightly worse than anywhere else so dont change shit loads there.
The other rule is dont change it till you get to LOS. |

i just tend to have a quick look as walking past exchanges but the difference is quite small as i only change a couple of hundred pounds at a go so only a few baht in it for me and can't see the point of traipsing around when i'll probably waste more money 5baht pissing than i could save and just use a place thats handy for me and a reasonable rate
