Test Cricket
376 runs in a day
Zero wickets lost to the best bowling attack in the number #1 Test team in the world. That's how you play Test cricket Just a shame that our Test captain has those bloody tattoos. FFS he is the captain of the number 1 sporting team in Australia. Should make him wear long sleeve shirts!!! The bastard can bat though!!!!

Top knock from Pup. I've warmed a bit to him in the past couple of years. He was not that well thought of off the field, but his talent on it has never been in question. Now he has matured a bit, he has a chance to become a real great in the game. Lets hope he can sort out the best players into a competitive unit ready for the Ashes next year. I think it would be difficult at this time to name more than five certs for the first test in England.

He has to move up to #4 if he wants to really leave his mark on the game.
Bad luck for Cowan. And Warner is not a test batsman.

Number 3 for me, now he plays the short stuff better, his technique is good enough to come in against the new ball when required.

He did ok today. He has got a few mates in not being consistently good. His fellow opener for starters. Never forget that Steve Waugh came into Test cricket in 1985 and took nearly 4 years to get his first Test ton. The selectors will persevere with Warner.

I watched some of the highlights on Sky. Looked a good Test would have been really close if a day hadnt been lost to rain. Aussies might have won it.

Gotta be one of the best Test debuts
Debut Ton at #10 Aust vs Sth Africa in Adelaide starts in a few minutes The 3 Lions vs Curry Munchers starts tomorrow in Bombay NZ vs Sri Lanka on Sunday The possibility of 4 Tests being played concurrently. Never heard of that before. Obviously all done like this due to the crowded cricket schedule due to all the poxy limited over stuff being played these days. I love Test cricket. Not overly concerned who wins any more. Always loads of banter at work with the Poms, Kiwis, South Africans and now the Indians and plenty of good natured ribbing on here especially if England wins or loses.. One of the possibilities of retiring & living in Pattaya is being able to visit the sub-continent to watch international cricket. Cheap flights with the likes of Air Asia. Now that's something to look forward to.

I was somewhere....might have been Jaipur...when India played the Pakis in a one-dayer. Special trains to bring the pakis down, armed guards on every corner, people wandering everywhere.
Suppose its a bit like Leeds playing away A weekend in Honkers for the Sevens would be alright.
