England v Thailand
Three Lions set for Asian excursion...
England have confirmed that they will travel to Asia next summer to play Thailand in a friendly international. Fabio Capello's side will travel immediately their Euro 2012 qualifier against Switzerland next June to play the game, being held to mark the 65th anniversary of His Majesty King Bhumibol's accession to the Thai throne. The Thai national side are managed by former England and Manchster United skipper Bryan Robson. Whether the fixture scheduling will meet with the approval of Premier League managers remains to be seen, but the FA apparently believe that the game will help the bid to stage the World Cup in 2018. The Premier League is, of course, massively popular all over South East Asia. http://www.goal.com/en/news/9/englan...-for-june-2011
