Bangkok every Trip
I see more guys are giving Bangkok a total miss on their trips to Thailand but I spend at least a week there before Pattaya, even if the costs are going up. The atmosphere is not better than Pattaya just different and I still reckon worthwhile.
On my first day normally go to few English pubs like Winking Frog or Black Swan for a chat, then head up to Bourbon Street for a feed. I like the bars in Washington Square & always end up in the Wild Country where the action can get real. The rest of the time spend a few nights in Nana, Cowboy & Patpong. Bangkok is still worth a visit
