once upon a time...I had a shady friend...haven't seen him in probably 25 years....who... one day... told a work m8 that he was going to the track.

his work mate gave him $20.00...which he readily accepted...to place a bet for him on a longshot that he had been following.....

well.. low an behold...the longshot came in and paid close to $250.00....my shaydee m8 decided to keep the winnings for himself and say he never went to the track...

well....the old adage is...if you accept money from someone and agree to place a bet on a horse race...and the horse comes in...you pay no matter what...doesn't matter if you didn't make it to the track...you pay off the guy.

no one at his place of work bought his story...and he was shunned... ended up losing his job...and a lot of his friends....all for $250.00.

i should be getting a tip tomorrow if i do i'll post it on this thread about lunch time fri oh and nice tip winnie only 3 hours after the race :confused:
