Been a Long Time Since I Have Seen One Of These
Even when you live out in the bloody never never like I do, you still get the odd surprise.
Out for my morning walk today and noticed this sitting outside a house. Not in the best condition either. I have not seen one in town for over 25 years. I could just imagine our very own Lord Brighton back in the day taking his for a Sunday drive around his country estate :kneel: :pontiac: |
An XJS, that looks like a good old cruising wagon. One of the things I don't like about modern cars is they stopped putting ashtrays in them. I'll bet a jallopy like that has a monster chrome ashtray you could have about fifty fag ends or cigar butts in. :smoke:
There's an old Jag parked outside Tonys Gym on Third Road a lot of days right next to the King Chulalongkorn statue/ shrine they built. Bit of a ropey paint job on it though. This one looks alright. |
Thought you had given up Gaz

At least you can look at the pictures, Bazzap. A car who had a fire under the bonnet and stood for decade before restoration. |
I bet you don't have rust out where you live bazz that's why that jag is still alive

I was very surpriced when I was in Adelaide how many old cars I remembered from my youth I saw. Cars from around 1970 and up.

It looks a twat with the flared wheel arches. Are they an addition or a factory fit?
