Muangthong United midfielder Mario Gjurovski may not be a name familiar to English football fans but that is all set to change after he was sent off for putting his shorts on his head to celebrate scoring.

The Macedonian international's goal in the 35th minute turned out to be the winner as Muangthong widened their lead in the Thai Super League, however, the sublime chip was overshadowed by his bizarre antics on Saturday.

Following the goal against TOT Sport Club, the 27-year-old removed his shorts, put them on his head and taunted fans in the bemused crowd.

Gjurovski's joy proved to be short lived as the referee was not amused with the show and showed him a second yellow card of the match, which resulted in a sending off.

However, Muangthong held out for the remaining time to win the match 2-1.
