Great acting performances...

Alec Baldwin....

nosehair 03-10-2007 04:41 AM

Sometimes a great actor doesn't even have to say a word...check out Eli Wallach's eyes as "Tuco" in the duel scene from "The Good, The Bad and the Ugly".

sabang 03-10-2007 04:59 AM

Glengarrie Glenross- great movie.

nosehair 03-10-2007 05:04 AM

nosehair 03-10-2007 06:07 AM

Joe Pesci as one of the most brutal enforcers the Chicago mob has ever produced, Tony Spilotro, and Robert DeNiro as his friend in "Casino"...no one does a gangster like Pesci...

1 of my favourite scenes from The Good The Bad And The Ugly. Eli Wallach is 1 of the most underated actors ever imo, he steals every scene he's in.

penetrator 03-10-2007 12:44 PM

This is 1 of the most powerful movie scenes ever imo, it still makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up even after seeing it dozens of times. Great acting from Vincent D'Onofrio but it's the directing of the master Stanley Kubrick that really makes it.

Full Metal Jacket

Some vintage Ray Winston in 'Scum' :kicking:

jonny 03-10-2007 01:04 PM

butterflyblonde 03-10-2007 02:45 PM

One of my favourite movie scenes.

The final attack in Zulu

nosehair 03-10-2007 02:45 PM

James Gandolfini as Tony.

mack 03-10-2007 07:01 PM

Sabang I've watched that movie several times, some great David Mamet dialogue in Glengarry Glen Ross plus of course an all-star cast. Here's Baldwin with his "motivational" speech. He makes Bobby Knight sound like Mother Teresa.

Well at least bloody acting...DeNiro with a young Jodie Foster in Taxi Driver (look how young Jodie Foster is in the film clip)

Who would of thought Ghandi could do such a frighteningly good portrayal of a psychotic London gangster. The scene where he's talking to himself in the bathroom mirror while shaving and the scene where he gets himself thrown off a plane are better I think but cant find them online.

Ben Kingsley in Sexy Beast

nosehair 03-12-2007 03:10 AM

That was a pretty damn good scene and a great movie. thanks for the post.

nosehair 03-12-2007 03:51 AM

nosehair 03-12-2007 04:38 AM

Another Oscar winning performace...this time from Peter Finch in "Network"...

nosehair 03-12-2007 04:55 AM

Greatest F N acting job ever turned in by a Ford Mustang....Steve McQueen in "Bullitt"...

nosehair 03-12-2007 05:19 AM

Samuel Jackson in "Pulp Fiction"...with J. Travolta....

nosehair 03-12-2007 06:15 AM

Al Pacino in one of his greatest roles...Tony Montana in "Scarface"...

nosehair 03-12-2007 06:30 AM

Gene Hackman and Peter Boyle in "Young Frankenstein"....

mack 03-15-2007 09:47 PM

If I was forced to pick a favorite movie it would probably have to be The Godfather (part 1). This short scene cracked me up, where Brando as Don Corleone slaps around "Jonny Fontane" the singer for being weak :boxing: then mimics him.

One of the great scenes from probably the greatest film of all time...thanks for that mack.dancing

Not to forget the scene with the white cat. Chilling.

This is a bit out of left field, but try to find Jack Lemmon in Inherit The Wind. Just reminds you of what a gifted actor he was, but got a lot of lightweight roles.

Gregory Peck in To Kill A Mockingbird.

Jimmy Stewart in The Man Who Shot Liberty Vallance (For you Bazz)

The Duke in True Grit.

Blue Velvet huh Fork? ...that was a creepy movie altogether. I like that Roy Orbison song, but usually flash back to this scene when I hear it, which kind of ruins the song.

Yeah Mack, Frank was scary on a really deep-in-your-psyche level.

Still gives me the willies.

Fork Handles 03-17-2007 12:49 AM

Couldn't find Jack Lemmon, but this guy could act a bit too..........

(Have a look for Colonel Potter and one of the Darrens, as well as Gene Kelly)

nosehair 03-17-2007 12:59 AM

Charlton Heston and Steven Boyd...the chariot race from "Ben Hur"

nosehair 03-17-2007 01:19 AM

"Goodfellas"..."Funny...How?"...

Fork Handles 03-17-2007 01:29 AM

Can act, and can bonk Catherine Zeta-Jones.:toot:

nosehair 03-17-2007 01:32 AM
