Downloading movies from Pirate Bay
 

Had my first try this week.
It's fantastic. Don't know why I've never done it before. Easy peasy.

No more DVD's for me.
Currently downloading complete collection of Errol Flynn films.

Anyone on here do not know how it's done?
Sure we can make a walk through guide.

the only issue with torrents is they are easier to track and the ISP are under pressure to block them and "filesharers" in the uk.

I don`t often watch movies but did get someone to download quite a few for me, a Tibet film, some old Sci Fi series, Star Wars, Star Trek, that sort of thing.

I've tried and can't even find a link to the site.

Cleaning out my son's bedroom, I found a media player and remote. It is el cheapo but it works. Plugged in my portable hard drive and connected it all to the big telly in the lounge room. Run the sound through my stereo. All set now.


Watched all the Game of Thrones series plus many movies.

Also transferred movies to my Samsung phone. Works a treat on the big Note 2 screen.


And talking of Errol Flynn, his many time leading lady Olivia De Havilland is still alive & kicking. She turned 98 last month.

Anyone using an Andriod phone or tablet can download the ttorrentlite app, then rip the files direct to the sd memory card.

I dont have a tv at home, watch the shows on my tablet when travelling or use a sansung dongle (40 quid) to sync the tablet to my screen and watch like that, works perfectly!

Using the tablet avoids static ip, which is how your isp monitors you :bigfinger

I have an sd card in my phone with 1000s of tunes ripped off in same way.

If anyone wants more info on high quality torrent service, which is subscription based unless you upload and download, I have access but I stopped cos the andriod tablet is best way to do it, possibly the greatest way to download ever...:king:

So after reading this I had another go at PB on the weekend. Clicked a link to Walking Dead. Next thing my anti-virus goes apeshit, all sorts of default programs are taking over my computer, warning bells going off everywhere.
Spent hours deleting anything with Saturday's date on it. Still can't get my Google search engine back, my Flash keeps crashing,, and I get a trojan alert every time I power up.

Tried to go back to a reset point, but it won't show any beyond that day.:muthafucka:

The main prob with some of these downloads is that you dont actually know what your downloading until you see it.

Not quite, downloading copyright material is what they nick you for, sharing is a different charge they add to make the studios happy and nail some sucker for illegal distribution.
The file share sites like PB got hit not for the copyright but the fact they had an advert on the server which meant earning money from it.

Yes it was a fraction of a penny but it counted against them in court.

I will never understand those that buy pirated DVD's when just about everything is available on torrent. All you need is a torrent client and a few sites from which to d/l from.

I use uTorrent and the following sites;

From this site you can just right click & save link as, no need for a torrent client.

I hit the download torrent link on Kickass and it downloaded, soundtrack and all despite that it had a zero in the seeders column.


It is ok quality.
