The Reds are in town ....
 

I thought I'd start a separate thread to keep the pics of the weekends happenings together in one place.

Anyway, today saw a steady stream of Reds heading down Sukhumvit. Fuck knows where they were heading, or where they are actually camping out. I'll find out and give it a pass tomorrow.

The first two pics were funny as fuck as I just stepped out onto the pedestrian crossing on Sukhumvit Rd down from the Emporium, put my hand up and the traffic came to a grinding halt. :viannen_09:Got a bit of a finger-wagging and smile from the traffic cop but everything so far seems to be pretty good-natured.

Saturday was pretty much the advance parties setting up camp on Ratchadamnoen Avenue and on Sanam Luang near to the Grand Palace. Not much happening, but lots of characters around and you've got to give the Thais credit - they know how to organise a protest. Sukhumvit tonight has seen a succession of convoys of buses, trucks, pick-ups heading towards the rally site so tomorrow should have a good party atmosphere I would think.

I think Sunday will be pretty mellow - any confrontation will come later if, and when, they split up and try to get access to some government buildings or the such like.

Reckon your correct Tom ...Monday will be the day for trouble .....hope not though.
