English food...is it all that?
 

outside of the traditional English breakfast, Channel eel and Yorkshire pudding....what other food is England noted for?:detective:

All the Englishmen I know are always talking about keybobz, curries, eyetalian or chinkee....food made famous in other countries and usually cooked by people associated with those countries.

I'll give you the sammich....invented by the Earl of Sammich...and it did revolutionize lunch....but what else?:sherlock:

I think you`ve summed it up really.
Outside of the English brekkie and Sunday Roast,
can`t think of much else.

Fish and Chips maybe?

There would certainly appear to be a helluva lot more
Indian and Chinese restaurants here than what might
pass as traditional English food restaurants.

Black pudding (raw), Stilton Cheese, Pork pie, Dripping on toast, Pikelets, Sop, Pigeon pie.............. the list is endless.

up here we have haggis its lovely puts hair on your arse aswell

o/c....somfin about the sound of "Pigeon pie"....makes me mouth water:feast:

i do like fish & chips now and then , cumberland sausage and mash with onion gravy:thumbsup: , pork pie with pickle :munchies: , pickled eggs in a bag of ready salted chrisps washed down with cider in the pub only downside to that is chronic heartburn and rotten farts next day.....

Pity me Grans dead or I would have sent you an expertly made pie over.

When you have finalized the purchase of the RG, maybe we could put it on the lobby menu.
