1st time to Pattaya
 

Hi guys firts time poosting and the first time coming to Pattaya in October. Have been to Bangkok several times. When going to Bangkok I've always caught a cab at the airport with meter and no problems. Is this the best way to Pattaya from Bangkok airport? Any hastles to anticipate and what is the cost? All help is appreciated.:goof:

taxi is your best bet. Haven't used the new airport but I think the price is around 1300 but I'm sure the other members will comfirm for you.

If you just get a cab at the airport you will likely get ripped off. (Only by a few hundred baht, but its the principle):cowboy:

Also a lot of those guys won't know where the Pattaya hotels are.

There are guys from Pattaya who will meet you if you pre-arrange by email, between 1000 and 1300 b.

ive booked a taxi through my hotel.....waitin at airport with a name sign....no hastle....1400 bt

Last time I payed 800+toll...Lots off taxis waiting outside...But if you land just before the bus leavs..Take the bus..same same time..

try to get a taxi before you arrive gets you out of the airport quickly I use JKtravel they have a website
