Tommie, Yes Gonzo beat me to it there its per person not per household! But I can well believe it. My mrs 2 sisters both married to Norwegians and live in Oslo.
It helps them only having 4 million people but they invested their North Sea oil wealth wisely and did'nt fritter it away like we (or should I say our thick politicians) did. And of course they had the good sense not to join the EU so hav'nt had to shell out billions to those fuckers in Brussels.
Simie.

Those figures are the base salaries which is only part of the story. The total income is something completely different.

David Beckham for example, earned around 40 million US dollars (£24 million) last year which is more than Lewis Hamilton and more than the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo (£23 million) and Lionel Messi (£19 million).

how true mate....each American baseball player has an additional contract with each baseball card manufacturer...

Topps used to be the kingpin of the industry...and might still be...20 years ago they used to pay each Major Leaguer...80k USD for the rights to print their mugs on little cardboard collectibles like this.......don't know what the factories pay the players now, as I haven't been interested in that scene for a long time.

Endorsements?...forgetaboutit...Michael Jordan still makes an incredible amount of bread through endorsements...used to be upwards of 30 million a year...have no idea how much these guys make now.

Have you seen all those Hollywood stars with their mugs on the back of magazines with a Rolex on their wrist? how much do those guys get for that ad?:detective:...
