My first trip plans :)

Hi guys.

So I am going to Thailand for first time on the 15th. Will be there almost 2 weeks. I was planning on spending either the entire time in Pattaya or maybe 2/3 days in Bangkok then the rest in Pattaya.

From what I have read I think hanging out a fair bit on walking street, then possibly soi 6 are my best bets. Atleast that sounds to me like the general consensus. What do you guys think?

As for what I am wanting on my trip. I want girls obviously and hot ones. But I do also love techno and would like to spend at least 1 or 2 of my nights at a place with good music.

Also Im into BDSM. Any of you guys ever tried any of those BDSM clubs in bangkok or pattaya? If so hows the selection of subs/slaves?

Well any info, oppinions, or things I MUST SEE please feel free to comment :).

Thanks guys happy hunting.:solobbq:

For girls a daytime jaunt down soi 6 after 4 pm, soapys are an option you will find 3 soapys up near soi 3 and 2 as for music walking street will have what your looking for club insomnia is one for some house/ trance also near WS is whats up agogo awesome place with top music too

techno kev 03-07-2011 03:41 AM

insomnia,i-bar,marine disco, casino club, marine 2 and jp bar all in the walking street area for smart birds and good music till the sun comes up,as for filth and sleeze you won't go far wrong down soi 6 !

jimmycricket 03-07-2011 04:20 AM

I knew a guy named Techno Kev could point me twards the tunes :D.

Oh also one more question about hotels guys.

Do any of the tvs in hotels have music channels like some usa hotels? I ask because I like to get my boom boom on to tunes or just to crank up the music and party :D.

BigBadSi 03-07-2011 05:10 AM

Dunno about music but I recommend flipper house soi 7 , cheap central and clean with good rooftop pool

thailearner 03-07-2011 06:29 AM

There are loads of places to explore.

Clubs have already been mentioned.
For go gos around walking street you try baby dolls, windmill and x zone.

Also have a wander around soi lk plenty of action around there as well.

What s your budget for your room?

In terms of music channels you'll have MTV Asia (awful) or a load of Thai music shite - certainly nothing you'll enjoy by the sounds of it. Best be taking your own music.

techno kev 03-07-2011 11:34 AM

i agree with gonzo......best to take the i-pod and docking station for party music back in the hotel mate !

jimmycricket 03-07-2011 11:44 AM

Yeah I gotta spread the love to these Thai girls with some Eurotech and some good ol hip hop :D Show em what they missing. I noticed most hotels seem to have dvd players so i can just burn some cds and bring those with me too possibly. Iono ill figure something out for the music.

As for my budget for hotel room I mean I could spend 1000ish if i really wanted. But i would rather spend the 400-650 a night prices ive been seeing, then spread the savings on to the girls of thailand haha.

jimmycricket 03-07-2011 12:05 PM

Oh also does anyone know which of the Russian places have good girls? Is it same prices as the other bars or gogos? I never bagged a Russian girl so I think i might wanna give that a go while i am in pattaya as well.

Also any words on the bdsm clubs in bangkok/ pattaya or are those places untested?

jimmycricket 03-07-2011 12:22 PM

Oh also what do you guys think of taking the bus from the airport to pattaya? Is it totally lame and i should jsut get a taxi? Or is it worth the money savings if you are semi budget concious?

You'll find most of them are into that stuff anyway.

Quite a few guys off here have used the bus and rate it highly, there's a timetable on here somewhere.

I got the bus a couple of years ago. It was fine. If there is a bus leaving not too long after your flight lands, I'd consider it. 200 baht at the time to get dropped off at Pattaya bus station then a minibus to the hotel. Prices might have gone up a little bit now. Bell Travel bus or Bell Travel Service was the one I went on.

Can only speak of own experience but seaside guesthouse on soi 3 is a decent guesthouse http://www.seaside-guesthouse.com/ in the price bracket you want

techno kev 03-07-2011 03:58 PM

for the sake of 1000 baht i wouldn't punish myself any further with a bus journey after a long haul flight it's always an air con taxi from arrivals to the hotel door for me even if iv'e travelled alone and am paying the fare myself !

You could try Mixx disco at the far end of walking street fir the russian birds.

For bdsm try the castle Pattaya but it is expensive.

Try the bell bus if your flight arrives at the right time or mr_ttaxi@hotmail.com 1000bht to Pattaya from the airport.

Seaside is good value... in high season... in north pattaya. Didn't think it was too bad at the time but I wouldn't go back.

For 600 baht a night, these are the places to stay imho and I've stayed in all of them apart from canterbury tales.

The Bell bus is alright, didn't seem too punishing I thought. Landed at 12.25 and bus left at 2pm. Got through passport control, collected my bags, had a smoke and off. I didn't get it last time but I'd do it again quite happily.

jimmycricket 03-08-2011 04:48 AM

OH MY GOD

Didn't Bazza check out of Canterbury Tales early recently cos it was a bit grim?

soi 2 03-08-2011 10:09 AM

I believe roamer said it was 'ok for a night or two'. Wouldn't be my first choice. Edit - just remembered, bkp stayed at Canterbury Tales for at least a month, he quite liked it.

Drunken Duck, Metro and Liquid Lounge are excellent value rooms though.

So i take it the pook bar is like half lady boys and a good tester place to get your gaydar up and running at fullsteam :D.

Well Soi 6 was prob gonna be my first stop anywho sense lots seem to say its the most in your face, and thats what i want :D. In your face girls from wall to wall all grabbing for ya trying to do a little :salsa: then a bit of :cheersmate: then get down for some :MyEmoticons-com__bl :MyEmoticons-com__po. Or if they really bad we can just get straight to :hump: all night long.

:clubbin:

Freak 03-09-2011 07:14 AM

BDSM www.secret-motions.com

Ive stayed at Dynasty Inn (soi 13) many times and always found it good.
Go wild son 10 000b a day

jimmycricket 03-10-2011 12:41 AM

Lol Freak 10k baht a day sure would be one hell of a time. But ill prob be going more like 2500-4000 baht a day instead :P Sadly I am not rich but I am sure I can make due on my budget :D.

Also guys I am mostly leaning towards either drunken duck which is in lk metro,or staying at seaside guesthouse which is on soi 3. What are your guys opinions on the locations of each? Will I be happy at either location?

Freak 03-11-2011 03:26 AM

Jimmy

Ive never stayed at seaside, but Ive heard nothing bad about it and friends have stayed there before.
Soi 3 location is OK, Ive stayed at BJ Hotel (soi 3)before.
Never stayed at Drucken duck before, But Lolitas is in the same soi and I go there a few times a week.
That area is about the middle of town.

Dont stress about where to stay ! its easy to move on to another place if you are unhappy. Infact I suggest you only book in to somewhere for 2 nights and look around at other places when there.

I reckon you should go to BKK for a few days on the way in or out lots to see there and you may never get this chance again.

dan

jimmycricket 03-11-2011 06:31 AM

Yeah you are probably right about seeing Bangkok as well for 2 or 3 days. What sights or places do you recommend in BKK? They can be monger places or just good ol family fun type of sights too (after all i need to take atleast a few pictures that arnt of girls to show friends back home haha).

soi 2 03-11-2011 09:54 AM

My thoughts on both places...

Seaside Guesthouse
http://www.pattaya-revealed.com/showthread.php?t=8247

Drunken Duck
http://www.pattaya-revealed.com/showthread.php?t=8277

Both were adequate. Drunken Duck seems to have been spruced up a bit since I stayed. Depends when you're going and how much you want to pay ? Up to you.

thailearner 03-11-2011 10:36 AM

For a Newbie I would say the Drunken Duck may be your better option.
As the owners as members of other Pattaya boards they are decent chaps and will give you advice or suggestions while you are staying there.

jimmycricket 03-12-2011 09:00 AM

Ya I just plan on getting to Patty and just going with the flow and finding a room there thats nice. Plus I like to bargain so maybe ill save a few baht by getting the room face to face.

As for my spots I got a feeling i am just going to check a lil of each area out. Lil of soi 6, lil walking street, lil LK Metro and w/e else that pops up :D.

I do think though I am leaning towards a hotel with a pool :D.

ummmm then you aren't gonna be shagging any stunners fella.
you'll need to get by eating at street carts and drinking beer from the 7-11's to get by on a budget of under 4k a day sorry to shatter any illusions you may have.

I'd suggest booking somewhere for the first couple of nights. So you can dump your bags and have a more relaxed look about. But really do you want to get up in the boiling hot daytime and trail round a load of rooms ? :sweatdrop: For all the time you're going to spend doing that and money you're going to save I'd just book something before you go.

Sorry if I've missed it in this thread but when are you thinking of going ? You might be able to bargain some places down in low season. But the places mentioned in this thread are pretty popular. I wouldn't think they'll budge much on price. In fact I'd think you'd be lucky to get a room without booking if its not low season.

I like a place with a pool these days, Opey is ok have a look at their website. When I've stayed at places without a pool I quite liked the beach. Bit more of a breeze than sitting round a concrete pool and bit more going on.

As for your budget of between 2.5 to 4k I'd say for a short holiday if you're going out every night the higher end of the range - 4k should pretty much cover it. Although I suppose it depends what you like doing and where you want to go.

I dont see why not. Shouldent I expect to pay about a 600 barfine and 2-3k for a good one at agogo? (i realise you can get em for less i am just figuring high) Then 1000-2000 for random chicks?

Im going to fuck the best I can find. If my budgets too low ill just get more $. But from all the reading I have done on Pattaya it sounds like 2500-4000 is plenty to get 1 or 2 chicks a day.

I leave for Pattaya this tuesday and you are probably right about booking a room for the first night or two. After all it is a very long flight.

As for what I will be doing. If I am beat I will just be relaxing by the pool or beach or sleeping lol. Then go out trolling for chicks at the bars n gogos and w/e. Find one I like and get it on. Sometimes ST sometimes LT depends on the place and the girl. I dont drink much, my beers really wont be a big cost.

For food I dont really care TBH. Sure I wanna get a couple high quality meals while I am there (i love thai food). But usually I dont care if I just eat lil buffets or w/e. Pretty much I am just a easy good dude, going on vacation wanting to bang some broads.

Some days ill feel like finding the hottest chick I can and wont mind spending that few extra baht. Other days Ill be cool just finding a decent budget banger chick for 1000-1500 :D (maybe less lol).

Anyways you guys have been great with all the tips and advice. Really appreciate it :). Hope to see some of ya there.

soi 2 03-12-2011 08:36 PM

Cool, sounds like a decent plan of attack to me. Have a good trip.
