The Champions League.

A good start for all the British teams and special mention for Rangers who nicked a point off'n Stuttgart away from home.
All the English teams got 3pts.

Barca will be the team to beat this year.

I predict a Man United :MyEmoticons-com__fl v Bayern Munich final.

soi 2 09-17-2009 12:53 PM

Good goal from Bougherra to equalise for Rangers.

Not looking forward to the Romanian team, even though they lost to Sevilla I can see them being tricky opponents.

Edit - Its shit the games are on Skysports 2 and 3 !

foz 09-17-2009 05:04 PM

chelsea for me ,they look a class act this season

Wiggy 09-17-2009 05:42 PM

Never rule Liverpool out, but i reckon Chelsea or Barca will win the trophy this season , keeping it warm for Leeds United's return :leprechaun:

soi 2 09-17-2009 09:15 PM

Good luck to Chelsea. They were robbed by the ref in that semi final with Barcelona - outrageous. I hope they do well this year.

Bilbobaggins 09-17-2009 09:19 PM

Chelsea v Barca or Real for me, yoonighted no chance of making the final, thin squad will get found out in Europe

Interesting to see what Rangers do tonight against Seville, they're currently lying 3rd in the Spanish league.

Another nail biting occasion for Rangers in Europe. Knowing Walter Smith it will be everyone behind the ball and Kenny Miller running about like a headless chicken harrying Seville defenders. A draw would be a good point from this fixture.

Tough games for Liverpool and Chelsea in Cyprus as well. I remember when Rangers played Famagusta and they were burning union jacks in the crowd. Cypriots will be tricky at home.

Wins for the reds and Chelsea.
Owen gets his first injury of the season, out for the 3 weeks, somebody kicked him in the knackers.
Didn't think it would be long coming.

Ronaldo hits 2 for Real Madrid and brings his tally to 9 for the season.

Jamie Carragher believes it wouldn't be a disaster if Liverpool were knocked out of the Champions league.
I wonder what his fans think of that.

No hope of winning the Premiership and if they get knocked out the Champions League then their season is over before Christmas. A total disaster.

They're gone.
Even after beating Debrecen they crash out after Fiorentina beat Lyon.
