insurance
travel insurance is a must for me i've not left home without it,:chute: but never used it either, is it best to get a full comprehensive cover for trips to los or just a basic deal i hope i never need it but would hate to end up in hospital then get a bill for thousands of pounds. whats the best to use, are things like getting a motosai covered or a boat trip to koh lahrn and scuba or snorkeling :surfing:ect has anyone had to make claims and did they get settled or just brushed off by the insurance company?

been in the doctors twice in thailand first time with food poisoning and second time a broken foot, but the excess payment on my insurance was more than they wanted for any treatment and medication i got so i just paid out my own pocket !

i use direct travel.
http://www.direct-travel.co.uk/ £50 a year, month travel per trip, no dangerous sports (winter ones i think) only used once a few years ago, an overnight and antibiotics in a hospital. would have cost me more than the £50 so i wouldnt be without it. |
