Very basic retirement calculator.
Just 5 boxes to fill in,clear the figures already in there,
then put in your own needs/expectations. Works best in US$ but not essential. Does at least show the devestating effect of inflation on a fixed lump sum but is IMO flawed as it assumes you just stick your money in CDs/Savings Deposit accounts as opposed to a mix of shares and/or property and Deposit accounts. Doesn`t allow for state or private pension income either. http://www.banksite.com/calc/retire |
not even going to look at it until the market stabilizes....most US retirement funds, IRA'z tied closely to mutual funds which have all lost 15-20% this year.....too depressing to think about or look at.
I'll check again in Obama plus 2 yearz:cheers: but......it doesn't stop me from thinking about a LOS retirement.....bare minimum needed to live in LOS and still have a bit of fun is 90k baht.....per month. |

Then when your dough runs out, start eating lots of the grilled pork-on-a-stick from the street cooks until you get the inevitable shits. :shit:_ :toilet: _ :shit: Step 3 is you throw on a diaper, check into the hospital and take your picture when the nappy is soiled. Finally, I'll start a charity drive for you on this board. Who loves ya tommie?! |
