This was fairly predictable. Davies has strung the Forest board along for too long, and was virtually asking to be sacked. Now the board have obliged.

The manager merry-go-round continues. Latest rumours on the next Cardiff manager are that it'll be Malky Mackay.

Yeah, all over the web now and SSN running it constantly. Gutted to be honest, we've had some decent managers getting interviewed but this smacks of a novelty appointment if true. No experience bar an 8 game run that saw Newcastle relegated and presumably would be on considerably more than the likes of Mackay or Di Matteo would have wanted.

Apparently he's got a coaching school in Malaysia and is pretty high profile over there so maybe that's what swung it. My only hope is that he'd only come to us if they were going to throw a fair bit of money at him to build a squad.
