travel advice from bangkok to pattaya
Hi lads
Two drunken irish perverts will be doing fort few days in bangkok. (nana plaza) before taking our first trip to Pattaya. You wise council would be appreciated 1. Any advice on where to stay 1500 - 2000 baht price range 2. Where to locate in pattaya |
Best advice is to skip nana entirely.

why ? do tell
we were there last year and it rocked.. is pattaya better |
Was last in nana in April and it was dire, could be a load of birds had gone off for songkran but it was the worst I'd ever seen it and I swore I wouldn't bother again. I've always preferred Cowboy to Nana anyway though but to be honest both were shite last time I went. If you're just looking for pissed up shagging get yourselves straight down to Pattaya.

thanks for the tip .. might just spend a night there after the flight
Whats the dynasty inn like |
its a good hotel has i stayed 4 nights there last year and close to the action has on soi 4 if i am correct

Gonzo is correct Nana is a shit hole now and a pale shadow of its heyday 10+ years ago. I've also always prefered Cowboy and these days try and avoid the whole Sukhumvit soi 4 area if I can. Cowboy was excellent when I was there in november but not cheap, but then neither is Walking street. Dynasty Inn was very tired and overpriced for what it is years ago so unless its had an upgrade I'd give it a miss personally. If you really want to stay near Suk soi 4 look at a few of the advance booking sites such as thaihoteldiscounts.com or Agoda and see what deals they have on the likes of Aspen suites and Majestic Grande in soi 2 or the Dynasty Grande in soi 6.
