Goodbye Captain Collingwood
Collingwoods decision to appeal and then after reflection, not calling Elliott back was a disgrace to cricket. He is not the brightest captain in the world and has now fucked up big time, especially if he misses out on the million dollar game later in the season.
Well played New Zealand. |
right OC.
reminded me of Dean Jones being run out after walking to a no ball in the Windies. No excuse for it. Pressure? Ha! |
Kiwis can't talk too loud. McCallum ran Murali out when he was walking to congratulate his partner getting a century.
The bastards still get upset just because Trevor Chappell bowled an underarm ball all those years ago. Kiwi commentator and former wicket-keeper Ian Smith still brings it up on a regular basis Fuck the Kiwis. They are are bunch of whingeing bastards. No wonder their nickname is "South Sea Poms" BTW, if you want to see PattayaPete go right off, tell him how good the underarm delivery was :toot: |

Collingwood resigned today.
More interestingly Michael Vaughan resigned from the Test job too. I reckon there is a lot more to this than the official line we are being fed. Vaughan obviously has the same media trainer as Kim Hughes. He will be a hard act to follow and is respected throughout the game, accept for a small group of backstabbers. |
We certainly wont miss Vaughan's batting of late
|
I've been looking at this thread but didn't want to say anything.
I can't hold back any longer. :raygun: Vaughan made me feel sick with his tears on TV. What a wanker. Pity he didn't cry about his shit batting perfomances. Collingwood is crap the same as all the England squad. They really embarrass me. All overhyped, overpaid and egotistical. More interested in writing their stupid views in a newspaper column. They need to stop worrying about that and sort their game out. Our county game is in crises. I wouldn't watch one if somebody paid for VIP tickets, transport and free beer. I firmly believe we should pull the test team from any future tours, go back to grass roots, chuck out all oversea's players, start a really decent cricket acadamy and get some pride back into the team. I know it's drastic but I'd only allow players from their home county to play for the county as well. It's getting out of control like football. Roles for Botham and Boycott as well. When I think of going to Lords when I was younger watching those two with bowlers like Willis, Hendrick and co it makes me wonder where it all went wrong. Even when we lost we went down fighting. This lot now are worst ever. :bigfinger |
Bit drastic Mirky. Under that regime Botham and Willis would never have played.
|
Vaughan was a successful captain but he is nursing a continuing injury which has affected his batting. He is a decent chap and its time to let him depart with honour.
The real problem for England is the selectors. |
pieterson is tipped to get both test & one day captaincy , if his batting suffers cos he's captain were well in the shit..! one plus could be vaughan was no1 batsman in the world before he got the captains job so maybe he'll return to that form again in time for next summer
|
Pieterson is a Voortrekker. He should have been playing on the other side on Saturday.
And even worse, Vaughan was captain of Yorkshire but he was born in Manchester. |
