Residence Garden is out of the way, tatty, and full of know it all ex pats.

Flipper is good location, with lots of sex tourists to hang out with

adamski69 02-11-2007 12:53 PM

Nice to see you back Lady Di.

The Flipper is very noisy if you get a room that overlooks Soi 7.

Not just noise from the bars but there is a speed hump right outside the front door that every vehicle hits with a right bang all through the night.

Rooms in the back are better, but if they are starting on building an extension to the hotel then a lot of those will be affected also.

I used to stay there all the time but no more because of the noise.

The Residence Garden is between Pattaya and Jomtien and more expensive than the Flipper.

Good Hotel but....

IMPORTANT :
The hotel plans to renovate Building A from June 1 till October 31, 2007. The renovation will take place from 8am till 6pm daily. During this period, there will be a loud noise which might sometimes disturb guests in the Hotel.:hammer::sadwalk::cursing:

BigBadSi 06-13-2007 06:44 PM

to add to guidos post they are also BUILDING a new wing

jonny 06-13-2007 11:17 PM

I stayed there when they were renovating and If I opened the balcony door I could hear them but to be honest I just slept through and wasn't disturbed once by the noise. Those damn centrifugees made a lot more noise.......
