Fork Handles 06-20-2007 10:30 AM

We only post when we're winning...:sport:

jonny 06-20-2007 12:42 PM

I've got bets on australia and south africa to win. New Zealand will comfortably win it though beating either south africa or australia in the final.

If England win it I'll buy Macks house and shag a ladyboy on webcam!!!

BigBadSi 06-20-2007 08:38 PM

If England win ill try it on with bouncer

Niall 06-20-2007 09:27 PM

Final will be France V Blacks and France will win by basically crippling the Blacks whilst the ref looks on.

They don't like it up 'em.

jonny 06-20-2007 09:49 PM

record win two weeks ago for the all blacks against france!!!

BorisBroomhead 06-20-2007 11:31 PM

Looks like many of the matches will be played at night so crap times for people living in Thailand, Oz or NZ.

As much as I want the Kiwis to lose everything, I am now getting a feeling sorry for them.

Don't think we will be posting much in this thread Arseboy:confused1:

I was in Auckland 8 years ago when France beat The Blacks in the semis. Boy did the Kiwis sulk.

Well I've voted NZ, but would love England to produce a miracle.

1st game 1st upset

France 12 Argentina 19

Thebomb 09-07-2007 08:57 PM

not a big ruby fan myself but was workin with a fella today who is,and he was sayin what a beatin the argies were gonna take tonight full stop...so its a bit of an upset

old crust 09-07-2007 09:01 PM

I'm not sure it was a really big upset. Argentina are no push overs, remember how they stuffed the Lions at Cardiff with virtually a reserve team.

gonzo 09-07-2007 09:19 PM

Really glad to see the Argies do it tonight, they were robbed by attrocious refereeing during the last world cup and had some shocking decisons go against them tonight too. It's going to be tough for Ireland now with the puma's all fired up and France knowing they need to hammer Ireland to get back on track.

ferocious 09-07-2007 09:21 PM

who won it last time ?

Bunch of footballers who forgot the game is meant to be about swift incisive running and giving the ball some air. Probably the ugliest championship win I've seen in any sport.

Not much chance of that this time for any of the nortern hemisphere teams - unless France step it up a bit. I thought all the home nations sides would reach the quarters this time but it's going to be an uphill struggle for Ireland to do that on tonights showing.

Even more so when you consider they had the ref playing for them as well! Giving a penalty to England instead of a sin-binning for the blatant trip that stopped the US getting what would have been their first try of the game?

The appalling refereeing ruined the last world cup and although I've only seen 2 of the games so far this time it looks very much like they're going down the same path.

edit in - actually watched 3 games but the guy refereeing the Aus - Japan match at least knew the rules.

BigBadSi 09-08-2007 07:49 PM

Didnt watch it Gonz i was at the Leeds v Hartlepool game we have 0 points now from 5 wins

You didn't miss anyting noteworthy mate other than a load of terrible refereeing fuck ups in your favour. The Aussie game was better but I wish I'd seen he all blacks game.

jonny 09-08-2007 07:57 PM

all blacks game was ok. The all blacks although they hammered them they also played some shoddy rugby at times. Italy didn't turn up for the first 40 and by then it was all over

BigBadSi 09-08-2007 07:58 PM

i reckon Sarf arfica will win englands group,,im looking at a SA v NZ frinal

penetrator 09-09-2007 02:24 PM

The best bit of action I see in Englands game was when our number 15 whatever his name is punched that Septic in the face after he'd done a dodgy tackle on Olly Barkley just before the end.

gonzo 09-09-2007 03:13 PM

Looks like Vickery is getting cited for the blatant trip he got away with yesterday and watching the 'boks Samoa game at the moment, either would demolish England based on yesterdays performance.

Piss poor first half for Wales earlier but we turned it around and started playing after Jones and Thomas came on.
